The product
RealFi is a blockchain-based financial platform on Cardano, backed by Input Output. Its stablecoin, USDrf, is backed by real-world assets, and the platform lets people mint, stake, swap and provide liquidity while seeing exactly where the reserves sit.
The challenge: DeFi concepts are hard to follow and easy to mistrust. The product had to feel as clear and dependable as a bank app.
What I did
- Led end-to-end product design for the customer app and the internal administration platform, from discovery through delivery.
- Designed the core investment journeys: minting, redeeming, staking, token swaps and transactions.
- Designed the admin tools: transaction tables, audit logs, asset management, permissions and operational workflows.
- Built and maintained the design system: components, design tokens, status patterns, chips and badges.
- Defined product branding, positioning and visual direction.
Design engineering
I used AI-assisted front-end tools to prototype and ship implementation-ready features. That sped up delivery and kept design and engineering aligned, because we were reviewing working software rather than static mock-ups.

Outcome
RealFi’s mainnet is live on Cardano, with the two-token USDrf and sUSDrf model, a transparency page for reserves, and support for Lace and Eternl wallets.
